We close the school's 21st year with immense pride in the students from the Class of 2025, who celebrated their graduation yesterday. They have been outstanding role models for younger students and lived the School Creed in inspiring ways. I have no doubt that they will take all they’ve learned to succeed at the top secondary schools they have chosen to attend.
It was terrific to welcome back so many alumni and alumni parents for Monday’s Homecoming festivities. We continued our tradition of honoring eighth graders with final commendations before officially welcoming them into the alumni community. This year, we started a new tradition of also recognizing alumni who have just finished high school, college, or (in one case) the Navy’s Nuclear Power School!
The evening included a more intentional effort to form mentoring connections between graduating eighth graders and older alumni who can offer wisdom, whether through common secondary school choices or shared interests. Networking also extended to older alumni who gathered for conversations around colleges, majors, and career paths.
I hope you enjoy this photo album with shots from both Homecoming and graduation.
With best wishes for Juneteenth, a joyful summer, and always, Vinny
