Driving Equity in Gifted Education

Harlem Academy was featured in a Christian Science Monitor article this week, emphasizing how the school fills an opportunity gap for gifted students in New York City.

The article includes insights from Head of School Vinny Dotoli, reflections from current eighth graders, snapshots from our engaging chess program, and an analysis we published with the Thomas B. Fordham Institute on gifted policies in the city.

In its 20th year, Harlem Academy is proud to be highlighted as a successful model for advancing equity in gifted education with a broadly circulated, national publication. Click here to read the article.
