There’s nothing better than the sounds of students reconnecting with old friends, getting to know new classmates, and enthusiastically jumping into the rhythms of our day.
Even though we’ve only been in our new building since December, I loved returning to a campus that already feels like home. Smiles could be found in every inch of the space – students enjoying good, healthy food in the café, pouring over new books in the library, and setting goals for the year’s journey in classrooms. And the middle schoolers had no problem taking me down in our first early morning pick-up basketball game!
Tuesday marked the first step in our planned expansion as we welcomed 60 new students, including our first kindergarten class. It was wonderful to watch the eighth graders step into their leadership role to greet the youngest members of our community and begin modeling what it takes to live the School Creed.
I am so thankful to everyone who helped bring us to the opening of our 19th year. I hope you will check out these photos to get a sense of how lucky we all are to be part of this school.
