Fifth Grade History: World Civilizations

Fifth grade students examine culture by exploring the development of human behavior and thought from the dawn of early humans through several major world civilizations: Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. There is also a strong focus on basic geography and mapping skills, with focus on the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
