Position Overview:
The Enrollment Associate will join a collaborative administrative team and support the Enrollment Director in admissions activities, recruitment, and family partnership. This role requires an individual with strong research and evaluation skills, a commitment to providing a positive experience to all candidates, and passion for building relationships with our attending and prospective families, and community partners. 
Admissions & Recruitment:
  • Research and execute outreach for prospective families
  • Participation in school fairs, community events, and off-site admissions information sessions  
  • Manage the digital/social recruitment strategies and platforms
  • Execute recruitment communications plan for applying and inquiring families
  • Support evaluation of completed applications
  • Ongoing maintenance of Enrollment Management System
  • Ongoing maintenance of Harlem Academy Admissions Webpages
Family Partnership & Administrative Support:
  • Guide admitted family enrollment orientation 
  • Support organization and implementation of family partnership events
  • Provide phone support and door-coverage as part of ongoing interaction with attending families
  • Support updating school data systems 
  • Commitment to the school’s mission 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong technology skills in support of communication and recruitment
  • At least 1 year work experience in an office setting or related field 
  • Demonstrable skills in independent problem solving and initiative
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Bilingual Spanish-English (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience in early childhood/elementary education (preferred, but not required)
  • Experience navigating Blackbaud or similar CRM (preferred, but not required)

Daily responsibilities are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional work outside of regular hours.
