Grade Two
The grade-two writer’s workshop guides energetic, focused writers as they develop as storytellers. Students receive daily feedback focusing on their successes and inspiring them to enjoy writing. Students bring their experiences, hopes, and ideas to the writing process as they craft personal stories, poetry, fables, fiction, and nonfiction. Grade-two students also produce a school newspaper that is shared with the Harlem Academy community.
