Grade Three
In grade three, students focus heavily on identifying vocabulary words in context and determining character traits based on text-based evidence. Along with independent reading and the Trophies program, the class engages in novel studies with books such as The Twits, How to Eat Fried Worms, and The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.
