Two teachers share each class.  The lead teacher runs the classroom from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with a break for lunch and preparation during the mid-day program from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.  The associate teacher adds a complementary skill set, often in arts or athletics, to the teaching team and provides assistance during key academic blocks.  Associate teachers work from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., with a break for lunch and preparation from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Associate teachers take lead responsibility for the mid-day and late afternoon programs.
