Extended-Day Format
Harlem Academy offers programming from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.  Extended hours give students more time to focus on the school's extensive goals for learning and overall development while also supporting the needs of working parents. The daily schedule:
 

7:30-8:15         Arrival and Morning Reading (optional)             

8:15-10:45       Literacy (with Spanish and Community Meeting)

10:45-11:00     Snack and Break

11:00-12:00     Mathematics

12:00-1:30       Mid-Day Program: Lunch and Recess

1:30-2:30         Choice (with Visual and Performing Arts)

2:30-3:30         Sciences

3:30-3:45         Snack and Jobs

3:45-5:00         Athletics

5:00-6:00         Departure and Homework Help (optional)
