Harlem Academy also uses internal mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of various program elements. 1) Attendance for all students during the 2008/2009 School Year (through January 2009) is 97%. 2) Attendance at Fall Parent/Teacher conferences was 100%. 3) Using a range from 5 (outstanding) to 1 (not effective), attending families were anonymously surveyed (May 2007).
