The Climb

What: 2011 Climb for Harlem Academy, an annual benefit bicycle ride developed to provide an important source of funds for Harlem Academy

When: Saturday, September 24, 2011, 8:00 a.m.

Why: To help sustain Harlem Academy's need-blind admissions

How: All riders will start and end at the Greenwich Country Day School, in Greenwich, Conn., right at the foot of many beautiful semi-rural roads. Our ride takes advantage of these roads, which generally have light automotive traffic, broad shoulders, and beautiful vistas.

The ClimbThe itinerary features 50 kilometer and 100 kilometer metric century ride opportunities. All of the Climb participants will pedal the same route along the Westchester and Fairfield county border. Rest stops stocked with snacks and water will be located at 30 kilometer and 50 kilometer marks. 2011 Climb jerseys will be given to riders at check-in. Food, water, and ride snacks will be on hand on for everyone to begin their ride energized.
